PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning sphere having improved cleaning performance by transmitting power of a drive motor to a spherical body, and capable of continuously performing the cleaning without stopping even when the spherical body comes into contact with an obstacle, by changing a rotation direction of the drive motor and reversing at the position.SOLUTION: A cleaning sphere 1 comprises a cleaning cloth 90 fitted on the outer peripheral surface of a spherical body 2, and a drive device 10 provided inside the spherical body 2. The drive device 10 includes a drive motor 16 provided in a drive case 11, a rotation shaft 31 rotated by the drive motor 16, a weight 60 attached to the drive case 11, and control means 80. The rotation shaft 31 is connected to a substantially central part of the spherical body 2. The control means 80 has switching means for switching the rotation direction of the drive motor 16, and timer means for transmitting a signal to the switching means for every prescribed time lapse for switching the rotation direction of the drive motor. |
