摘要 PURPOSE: A pitch control method for a wind power generator is provided to rapidly increase the torque value of a wind turbine compared to the wind speed by increasing the revolutions per minute (RPM) of a rotor blade even when the wind speed at the wind turbine suddenly increases, thereby improving the performance of the wind turbine. CONSTITUTION: A pitch control method for a wind power generator includes the following steps: the wind speed of a wind turbine is successively measured in chronological order (S10); the measured wind speed in S10 is moving-averaged by the entire time interval in order to calculate a moving average wind speed of the entire time interval (S20); the measured wind speed in S10 is moving-averaged by a recent time interval among random time intervals in order to calculate a moving average wind speed of the recent time interval (S30); comparison is conducted on whether the calculated moving average wind speed of the recent time interval in S30 is faster than the calculated moving average wind speed of the entire time interval in S20 (S40); and if the moving average wind speed of the recent time interval is determined to increase more than the moving average wind speed of the entire time interval in S40, the pitch angle of a rotor blade is controlled to restore a torque reduction part of the wind turbine due to the increase in the wind speed as much as a certain size by increasing the torque of the wind turbine (S50).
