PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a centrifugal separator reduced in size while the dust collection performance is maintained.SOLUTION: A centrifugal separator includes: an inflow port in which dust-containing air flows; a swirl chamber where the dust-containing air flowing in through the inflow port swirls along the side wall; a discharge port for discharging the air swirled in the swirl chamber; an opening provided on the wall surface of the swirl chamber to open upward; and a dust collection chamber provided on the outside of the swirl chamber below the opening to store the dust separated from the dust-containing air and moved from the opening to the outside of the swirl chamber.
