FIELD: process engineering.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat exchangers, particularly, to chain curtains for rotary kiln used in production of construction materials. Chain comprises interconnected links, each of oval cross-section. Maximum and minimum diameters of said oval cross-section are located in mutually opposite direction. In chain lengthwise sectional view, minimum diameter direction in cross-section of every chain link is aligned with that of every previous link and with every neck link. Maximum diameter in cross-section of every link is a subtense of circle arc that defines the link inner contact surface.EFFECT: lower chain resistance to gas flow, higher heat transfer efficiency, higher kiln efficiency.4 cl, 3 dwg |
