FIELD: medicine.SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and aims at improving therapeutic hygiene, reducing injuries and enhancing operational ergonomics. What is presented is a dental instrument comprising a flexible metal plate with an abrasive coating and a free portion at a tip. The apparatus comprises a rigid bracket with the handle at a back edge attached to the plate tip through a joint. The bracket is parallel with the plate and freely moveable through a gap between the plate and the bracket of the dental crown. There is a ring at the other end of the plate in the same plane to insert a finger thereto. A rigid loop for a first finger is provided on the handle crosswise. The joint thickness above the plate is equal to the plate thickness with the joint edge adjoining the plate provided at a distance of 3-4 mm from a front edge of the plate. All angles of the plate tips are smoothed. A stop surface of the bracket handle is anti-skid.EFFECT: using the dental instrument ensured by eliminating the necessity of introduce doctor's fingers into the patient's oral cavity, and reducing the time of the procedure, enables improving therapeutic hygiene, reducing injuries and enhancing operational ergonomics.4 cl, 3 dwg |
