The system (8) has an air-to air type exchanger (9) and an air-water type exchanger (10) for cooling charge air by using cooling liquid cooled by a low-temperature radiator (12). The air-to-air heat exchanger, the air/water exchanger and the low-temperature radiator are formed by three heat exchangers distinct and fixed with respect to each other in order to form a cooling module. The module has a low-temperature cooling circuit (11), which is thermally split from a high temperature cooling circuit (3) used to cool an internal combustion engine (2).
