The device (1) has a rectangular plate (15) mounted to slide with respect to a fixed housing (11) between retracted and extracted service positions. The plate is secured to a support edge internally delimiting a circular opening (17) for introduction of a container (20). A wall (25) is connected to the plate to form a frontage to close the housing in retracted position. The wall is articulated with respect to the plate between closing position in which the wall closes the housing when the plate is in the retracted position, and an open position in which the wall releases access to the opening. An independent claim is also included for an equipment part e.g. fascia, of a vehicle.
