PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutter for lathe-turning apparatuses which prevents falling of and clogging with diamond abrasive grains and enables efficient lathe turning.SOLUTION: Diamond abrasive grains are deposited on the lathe-turing surface of the cutter body, and the count of the grain size of the diamond abrasive grains is No.20 to No.30. The cutter body consists of a columnar part and a conical part on the end part side of the columnar part and has a plurality of grooves extending in the axial direction of the outer peripheral surface of the columnar part. The outer peripheral diameter of the columnar part has a diameter reduction part in which it is reduced toward the reverse rotation direction of the cutter body, with the interval between a groove and an adjacent groove as a unit. |
