PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source device and a projection device, which can diffuse the heat radiated by a light source efficiently.SOLUTION: A light source device comprises: a light source; and a conduction portion for conducting heat radiated from the light source to a diffusion portion for diffusing heat. The conduction portion is constituted of a plurality of parts. Moreover, the conduction portion includes: a first part for conducting, when the light-emitting side of the light source is located at the front, the heat radiated from the back of the light source; and a second part for conducting the heat diffused from the side of the light source. The present technique can be applied to a projector, for example, which has a light source and which is needed for reducing the influences due to the heat diffused from the light source. |
