The present invention relates to a shock absorber equipped with a generator, in which ring-shaped magnets are installed on the inner surface of a cylinder or the outer surface of a piston rod in multiple layers, and a tubular armature is disposed between the inner surface of the cylinder and the outer surface of the piston rod to be moved by vertical movement of the piston rod, thereby generating an electromotive force according to the change in the relative vertical positions of the magnets and the armature, and in which a coil is disposed with a minimized gap around the entire outer surface of the armature. The shock absorber includes first magnets (40) consisting of rings having an N-pole inner surface and rings having an S-pole inner surface which are alternately arranged in a vertical direction, and fixed to the inner surface of a cylinder (10); an armature (30) receiving a lower portion of the piston rod (20); and a first elastic body (60) interposed between a lower end portion of the armature (30) and the inner bottom surface of the cylinder (10). The armature is formed in a hollow pipe shape with the lower end portion being closed, and is pressed and moved down in the cylinder (10) when the piston rod (20) is moved down. The outer surface of the armature is defined by small divided surfaces of the same shape, and an electric coil (31) arranged along a boundary line between the small divided surfaces is installed in each small divided surface. |
