PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of producing a heat sink enabling easy production of a heat sink having high heat transfer efficiency.SOLUTION: A method of producing a heat sink is for producing one with fins formed around a channel part in an integrated form and includes a preparation step of preparing a to-be-cut block 10 provided with a through hole 11 penetrating from one end surface to the other end surface opposite to the one end surface and serving as a channel part and a cutting step of cutting the to-be-cut block 10 by moving relatively a multiple cutter 20 equipped with a plurality of disk cutters 22 laminated with a clearance between them and the to-be-cut block 10 so as to form fins with uncut areas left around the through hole 11.
