PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device that reduces a wasteful waiting time at power input.SOLUTION: If a data signal D1 stored in a storage section 5 is "0," the semiconductor device brings an internal reset signal RES to an "H" level to release an internal circuit 7 from a reset state when a relatively short time passes since a rising edge of a power-on-reset signal &phgr;POR. If the data signal D1 is "1," on the other hand, the internal reset signal RES is brought to the "H" level to release the internal circuit 7 from the reset state when a relatively long time passes since the rising edge of the power-on-reset signal &phgr;POR. The data signal D1 logically depending on a rise time of a supply voltage VCC can thus be written to the storage section 5 to reduce a wasteful waiting time at power input. |
