<p>The device (200) is provided with a Global positioning system (100), by which the position movement information of a subject vehicle and an object vehicle is received. The distance between the moving subject vehicle and the moving object vehicle is calculated on the basis of the position movement distance of the subject vehicle and of the object vehicle at a predetermined time. The position movement information of the subject vehicle and of the object vehicle is calculated over the time using a coupling formula. An independent claim is included for a method for calculating a distance between vehicles.</p> |
