PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in taste and quality of beverage by preventing evolution of a larger quantity of foam due to a great drop distance of the beverage in an initial step of discharging the beverage.SOLUTION: There is provided a beverage server in which a stop valve and a discharge pipe is mounted in a beverage storage container. In the beverage server, a discharge nozzle 5 at an end of the discharge pipe can be moved up and down, the discharge nozzle 5 is brought close to the bottom of the container before starting discharge and is moved as a liquid surface rises after starting the discharge. Thus, a certain short distance can be kept between the discharge nozzle and the liquid surface in the container receiving the discharged beverage regardless of liquid level of the beverage in the container, so that excessive foaming during the discharge is suppressed and good quality beverage free from deterioration in flavor can be provided. |
