PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photoelectric conversion element capable of improving generating efficiency and capable of being manufactured by a simple manufacturing process.SOLUTION: A photoelectric conversion element includes: a semiconductor substrate 3 of a first conductivity type; a first semiconductor film 8 of the first conductivity type provided on one surface of the semiconductor substrate 3; a second semiconductor film 13 of a second conductivity type independently provided on the surface from the first semiconductor film 8; and dielectric films 7 and 12 provided between the semiconductor substrate 3 and the first semiconductor film 8 and/or between the semiconductor substrate 3 and the second semiconductor film 13, respectively. An intermetallic compound layer 15 is formed on the first semiconductor film 8 and the second semiconductor film 13. |
