PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength conversion member for a semiconductor light-emitting device and a semiconductor light-emitting device, capable of improving the wavelength conversion efficiency in a wavelength conversion region.SOLUTION: In a wavelength conversion member for a semiconductor light-emitting device and a semiconductor light-emitting device, a wavelength conversion member has a first wavelength conversion element including a first phosphor in a first transparent medium and a second wavelength conversion element including a second phosphor different from the first phosphor in a second transparent medium, and is configured so that the first and second wavelength conversion elements are arranged in parallel with an incident direction of light emitted from a semiconductor excitation light source, and that the first and second wavelength conversion elements are contacted with each other. In the wavelength conversion member, refractive indexes of the first transparent medium and the second transparent medium are different from each other. |
