PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolled copper foil for secondary battery charge collectors, capable of preventing plastic deformation from occurring due to a large elastic deformation amount and improving a yield in the manufacturing process of a battery etc., and electrical characteristics thereof, and further provide a method of manufacturing the same.SOLUTION: A rolled copper foil 20 for secondary battery charge collectors consists of copper or copper alloy formed by rolling. An area ratio [S (111)/S (100)] of an area rate S (111) of an area having a (111) plane directed to a rolling direction to an area rate S (100) of an area a (100) plane directed to the rolling direction is 2 or less on crystal orientation.
