PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to easily grasp the contents of each image processing and the entire image in the case of displaying a plurality of images in a list.SOLUTION: A composition object determination part 81 determines a processing object in image data of a thumbnail image obtained by adding a margin area to a reduced image of an original image. A feature image extraction part 82 extracts image data of a feature image including at least a portion of a feature area of the original image from the image data of the original image corresponding to the processing object. An image composition part 83 generates image data of a composite thumbnail image with the feature image superimposed on the margin area of the thumbnail image by applying composition processing for compositing the feature image and the thumbnail image to image data of the thumbnail image and the feature image.
