PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint for a horizontal pipe which is applied to e.g., a curved portion of a horizontal drain pipe of a building, and a horizontal drain pipe employing the same.SOLUTION: A joint 10 for a horizontal pipe is used while being connected to a horizontal drain pipe (100) of a building and comprises a joint body 12 and a cover body 28. In the joint body 12, an inlet 18 and an outlet 22 at a predetermined angle are formed and at a position branching from a flow passage from the inlet 18 to the outlet 22 and opposing the outlet 22, a cleaning port 26 is formed. The cover body 28 is mounted over the cleaning port 26 in a freely removable manner, and the cleaning port 26 is closed unless the cleaning port is used. Further, at a rear face side of the cover body 28, a guide part 44 is provided. The guide part 44 is configured to guide a washing nozzle (106) from a side of the outlet 22 to a side of the inlet 18 within the joint body 12. When washing the horizontal drain pipe (100), the washing nozzle (106) inserted from the outlet 22 into the joint 10 for the horizontal pipe collides with a distal end face of the guide part 44 and is moved towards the inlet 18 along the distal end face. |
