摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a ceramic-metal joint capable of reducing the production time of a ceramic-metal joint made by covering and jointing a cylindrical metal on the outside of a cylindrical ceramic body, and to provide a spacer which can be used for the production method.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing a ceramic-metal joint using a die cast machine 40 having a clamping force of 50 tons or more. The outer peripheral surface of a cylindrical ceramic body 11 is covered with a cylindrical metal tube 12 in a state of having a gap 49 between the outer peripheral surface and arranged in a cavity formed by a mold 41 of the die cast machine 40. Then, a molten metal at 200°C or less is supplied into the cavity at a plunger speed of 0.1 to 1.0 m/s or more using a plunger having a diameter of 80 to 100 mm. Thus, the molten metal is filled in a gap 49 between the cylindrical ceramic body 11 and the cylindrical metal tube 12, followed by solidifying to produce a ceramic-metal joint.
