<p>Disclosed are a security monitoring system and a method therefor in which a security monitoring system, using a crime prevention center, such as a private security service, and a mobile robot, prevents an unnecessary mobilization service due to malfunction of a sensor or a mobile robot. A security monitoring system according to an aspect of the present invention comprises: a mobile robot for transmitting, via a communication network, an abnormal situation detection report when an abnormal situation is detected while moving within a particular monitoring area; and a first user terminal for receiving the abnormal situation detection report transmitted by the mobile robot, and transmitting a mobilization request to a crime prevention center according to a user input.</p> |
