PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus that suppresses an excessive current generated due to a frequency of an AC voltage output by a bias power supply.SOLUTION: A development bias power supply 18 included in an image forming apparatus 1 comprises: a switching circuit 110 that includes switching elements; a current control transformer 120 that controls a current flowing from the switching circuit 110; an output transformer 130 that receives a current flowing from the switching circuit 110 to output an AC voltage Vac; and a DC voltage circuit 160 that generates a DC voltage Vdc. The development bias power supply 18 outputs an output voltage Vout in which the DC voltage Vdc is superimposed on the AC voltage Vac. |
