PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably perform cooling of a storage battery being charged by a refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit of a heat pump water heater in a hot water system equipped with a heat pump water heater, a storage battery, and a hot water storage tank.SOLUTION: A hot water system is provided with a cooler (14) and a control part (70). The cooler (14) cools a storage battery (11) by carrying out heat exchange between a refrigerant in a refrigerant circuit (20) of a heat pump water heater (5) and the storage battery (11). Also, the control part (70) performs an operation to set charging power (ELiB) and a charging time (TLiB) of the storage battery (11), an operation to set input power (EEQ) of the heat pump water heater (5) so that a water boiling operation is completed within the same time as the charging time (TLiB) set by the above operation and an operation to perform a charging operation of the storage battery (11) and the water boiling operation of the heat pump water heater (5) concurrently. |
