PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support apparatus for enabling highly reliable driving support.SOLUTION: Inter-vehicle communication is used between a bus vehicle, a public vehicle including taxi, and a nearby vehicle. The public vehicle transmits/receives vehicle-stop information of the public vehicle stopping at a stop or a station and an alighting pedestrian information on an alighting user. The nearby vehicle is notified in advance that the public vehicle is to stop at a stop or a station and a user is going to get off, on the basis of the vehicle-stop information and the alighting pedestrian information transmitted from the public vehicle by the inter-vehicle communication, to decelerate or pay attention to it. Highly reliable driving support is attained for the nearby vehicle located behind the public vehicle, on the basis of the position information of the public vehicle, operation information, and the position information of the nearby vehicle. |
