PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultraviolet-curable adhesive composition for optical use, which is an adhesive composition for optical use to be used for a touch panel and the like and which has excellent adhesiveness, transparency and durability and gives no adhesive residue upon peeling.SOLUTION: The ultraviolet-curable adhesive composition for optical use contains a solvent by less than 1 wt.% and shows a viscosity of 100 to 10,000 mPa s at 25°C and a hue of 1 or less by Gardner color scale, and the composition comprises: (A) an ethylenically unsaturated bond-containing acrylic polymer having a weight average molecular weight of 300,000 to 1,200,000 (in terms of polystyrene by gel permeation chromatography); (B) a monomer having one ethylenically unsaturated bond and a linear alkyl group having 4 to 18 carbon atoms; (C) a monomer having one ethylenically unsaturated bond and a cyclic alkyl group having 4 to 18 carbon atoms; (D) a compound having three or more ethylenically unsaturated bonds; and (E) a photopolymerization initiator. |
