PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a force-measuring device including a relatively cost-effective reference unit serving to deliver a proper and accurate reference quantity, reference current or reference voltage.SOLUTION: A force-measuring device includes a measuring unit and a reference unit 100R. The reference unit serves to deliver a reference quantity, a reference current or a reference voltage with which the force of a measurement object to be determined can be measured by the measuring unit. The reference unit 100R is a force-measuring device which is loaded with a reference mass and which, in accordance with the principle of electromagnetic force compensation, generates a reference current which can be regulated by means of measuring and regulating devices 3R and 4R in such a way that in a first reference coil 1R and 1Ra held by a reference lever 105R the reference current generates a magnetic field which cooperates with the magnetic field of a reference magnet 2R in such a way that a magnetic force is brought to bear on the reference lever. The force of the reference mass which is likewise acting on the reference lever can be compensated by the magnetic force. |
