摘要 Embodiments of solid-state batteries, battery components, and related construction methods are described. This includes especially one or more embodiments of a solid-state rechargeable battery electrode wherein the lithium-based active material particles are bonded through a low melt temperature inorganic solid electrolyte such as LiPON, Li2O-MoO3, U2O-WO3, LiBR- Li2O-WO3, or LiBr-Li2O-B2O3-P2O5. The active powder material and the solid electrolyte are bonded together to form the electrode at a temperature lower than 600°C. This includes also one or more embodiments of a composite separator having a low melt temperature electrolyte component. Embodiments of methods for fabrication of solid-state batteries and battery components are described. These methods include co-extrusion, hot pressing and roll casting.
