An energy management device comprises a management device which controls the operation of a load device in a facility where a plurality of load devices are installed, in accordance with a target energy-saving rate and a remote management device which communicates with the management device and provides the management device with control data for controlling the operation of the load device. The remote management device comprises an information storage unit which stores facility information in association with setting information, an energy calculation unit which uses energy simulation to calculate a recommended electric power for a facility of interest, an information input unit which inputs a required condition included in the facility information associated with the facility of interest, and a parameter estimation unit which extracts information from the information storage unit using the required condition and generates a parameter to be used in the energy calculation unit.
