A method and a device for processing and tracking a TACACS+ session. The method comprises: registering an attribute value of a TACACS+ message of a TACACS+ session to be tracked; when a TACACS+ client receives a TACACS+ request message, parsing the TACACS+ request message so as to judge whether an attribute value thereof is the same as the registered attribute value or not; if yes, saving a Session_id value in the TACACS+ request message; and when the TACACS+ client receives a TACACS+ response message, comparing a Session_id value in the TACACS+ response message with the saved Session_id value, and if the two Session_id values are the same, setting the state of the corresponding TACACS+ session to be successful. With the embodiments of the present invention, the TACACS+ response message is tracked, so that a tracking function of the whole TACACS+ session which conforms to a specific condition is realized. |
