A super-heavy casement window stay hinge, formed by assembling a slide rail (2), a first slide block (10), a second slide block (9), a movable supporting pad (11), and several braced cantilevers (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8). One end of the second short braced cantilever (8) is pivotally connected to the second slide block (9) and is then loaded into the slide rail (2). The first short braced cantilever (3) and the braced cantilever (6) are pivotally connected to the first slide block (10) and to the movable supporting pad (11) and are then loaded into the slide rail (2). One end of the long braced cantilever (5) is pivotally connected to the slide block (2). The midsection of the long braced cantilever (5) is pivotally connected respectively to the other ends of the second short braced cantilever (8) and of the braced cantilever (6). The other end of the long braced cantilever (5) is pivotally connected to the midsection of the top braced cantilever (4). One end of the top braced cantilever (4) is pivotally connected to the first short braced cantilever (3). The strengthened braced cantilever (7) is pivotally connected respectively to the midsections of the top braced cantilever (4) and of the braced cantilever (6). The movable supporting pad increases the weight-bearing capabilities of the stay hinge, prevents the stay hinge from abrasions, and allows the stay hinge to be easily opened and closed and to be durable. The extremity of the top braced cantilever does not bend downwards or tilt downwards due to gravitational effects on a window sash and preventing the window from being closed tightly.
|
