摘要 <p>The present invention relates to a sunlight generation system which has a solar cell array which is formed with multiple solar cell strings and a solar cell string fault diagnosis method. The sunlight generation system includes: the solar cell array which has the multiple solar cell strings; a sensor unit which senses an environmental element which changes the generation of the multiple solar cell strings and respectively detects the output voltage or output current of the multiple solar cell strings; an output control unit which controls the output of the solar cell array and diagnoses the state of the multiple solar cell strings; and a power conversion unit which generates output power by converting input direct-current power from the output control unit. The output control unit includes: a switch unit which selectively connects the output power terminal of the multiple solar cell strings to a power generation wiring or a diagnosis wiring; a diagnosis load which is connected to at least one of the multiple solar cell strings through the diagnosis wiring according to the operation of the switch unit during a power generation of the solar cell array; and a main control unit which diagnoses the state of the solar cell strings by controlling the generated output which is outputted from the multiple solar cell strings through the generation wiring and comparing the output voltage or the output current, when the solar cell strings are connected to the diagnosis load, with a reference voltage or a reference current.
