PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seaweed cultivation base material having good adhesion to spores and excellent spreading property in the sea.SOLUTION: A seaweed cultivation base material comprises a fabric having a porosity of 1 or less mm in length, and the fabric has a plurality of notches with 700 mm or less at intervals of 10 to 200 mm. Preferably the water absorbability of the fabric is 60 seconds or less in a sedimentation method (JIS L 1907 7.3.1). |
