摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece conveyance robot suitable for detecting information on a workpiece on a hand in a configuration to move the hand in a horizontal straight line.SOLUTION: A workpiece conveyance robot A includes: a guide body 3; a moving member 5A which has a prescribed moving route movably supported on the guide body 3 and includes a hand 53a supporting a workpiece W; a drive mechanism driving the moving member 5A; and detection means detecting information on the workpiece W on the hand 53a. The detection means includes a detection sensor 54 provided in the hand 53a, support section side terminal sections 37 and 38 provided in the guide body 3, and a moving section side terminal section 57 which is provided in the moving member 5A, is electrically connected to the detection sensor 54 and conducts in contact with the support section side terminal sections 37 and 38 when the moving member 5A is located at a prescribed position. When the moving section side terminal section 57 and the support section side terminal section 37 (38) are brought into contact with each other, information on the workpiece W can be detected.
