PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication device that can prevent long time interruption of communication when a frequency band used in communication is automatically switched.SOLUTION: When a control unit of a radio communication terminal 2000 has determined that communication quality has been deteriorated during communication at a first frequency band, it outputs a request signal for requesting switching to a second frequency band to a radio communication device 1000. Then, when the request signal has been received, a switching preparation unit of the radio communication device 1000 calculates certain clock time, and outputs a signal corresponding to the calculated clock time to a switching execution unit of the radio communication device 1000 and the control unit of the radio communication terminal 2000. When the clock time indicated by the signal corresponding to the clock time passed, the switching execution unit of the radio communication device 1000 switches the frequency band used in communication to the second frequency. When the clock time indicated by the signal corresponding to the clock time passed, the control unit of the radio communication terminal 2000 also switches the frequency band used in communication to the second frequency band. |
