PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a belt member for an image forming apparatus that suppresses the phenomenon in which an end in a width direction of a belt is curled.SOLUTION: A belt member 101 for an image forming apparatus includes a resin material and conductive powder 112, and a laminate of a plurality of resin layers having different thermal linear expansion coefficients (for example, an innermost layer 110 and an outermost layer 111). In the resin layer having the highest thermal linear expansion coefficient (for example, the outermost layer 111) of the laminate of the resin layers, an area in which the conductive powder is unevenly distributed (a conductive powder uneven distribution area 111B) extends along a circumferential direction of a belt, within a range of 5 mm or more and 40 mm or less from one end in the width direction toward the center part of the belt. |
