PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrict a fast deceleration of a vehicle when an operation for shifting down a shift position is carried out when a vehicle speed is being decreased.SOLUTION: When a shift position for defining a control range of a deceleration ratio of a stepless speed change device is set at a position in a low-gear side, a power generation quantity under a regenerative brake is set higher than when the shift position is in a high gear side position. When an operation for shifting down the shift position is carried out at the time of deceleration of vehicle speed, an increase rate of power generation quantity in a delay period T1 ranging from the operation to an actual start of change in a deceleration ratio of the stepless speed change device is made faster than an increase rate of power generation quantity at T2 after the deceleration ratio of the stepless speed change device starts to change. |
