PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable efficient maintenance of data stored in a plurality of shared servers.SOLUTION: A data management device comprises: input/output means that accesses file storage means for storing a plurality of files each having a unique file name; specifying means that specifies a file to be subjected to area reduction among the plurality of files; and execution means that extracts a file whose file name partially matches that of the specified file from the file storage means, and executes the area reduction on the extracted file. |
