摘要 The present invention provides a method of accurately detecting the partial discharging location of a power device. To this end, the present invention measures the arrival order and arrival time difference of partial discharging signals for each of a plurality of partial discharging sensors installed on the external surface of the power device, divides the power device into a plurality of spatial regions, determines, from the arrival order of the partial discharging signals, a spatial region in which there is a partial discharging location, calculates the representative location value of the spatial region, and determines a compensation value for the arrival time difference to be applied to each spatial region. Then, by using the arrival time difference of the partial discharging signals for each partial discharging sensor to which the compensation value has been applied, four simultaneous equations for a distance between each partial discharging sensor and a partial discharging location are set, and the coordinates x, y and z of the partial discharging location are calculated from the four simultaneous equations by a simultaneous equation numerical analysis algorithm, wherein the representative location value of the determined spatial region is applied as the initial value of the simultaneous equation numerical analysis algorithm to calculate the coordinates of the partial discharging location.
