PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multilayer optical recording medium capable of detecting reflection beams having sufficient intensities on the interface of an optical recording layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer and exhibiting an excellent recording sensitivity even when used for a recording scheme entailing the deformation of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer side thereof due to the formation of a convex structure by the optical recording layer; a pressure-sensitive adhesive usable for manufacturing the same; and a pressure-sensitive adhesive sheet for manufacturing a multilayer optical recording medium.SOLUTION: The provided pressure-sensitive adhesive monomer 1 for manufacturing a multilayer optical recording medium is used for manufacturing a multilayer optical recording medium 10 provided by laminating an optical recording layer 11 and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12; within this laminate of the optical recording layer 11 and pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12, the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer 12 is constituted, as a layer of a pressure-sensitive adhesive consisting principally of a (meth)acrylic acid ester copolymer including, as constituent monomer components, a fluorine-containing acrylic monomer and/or silicon-containing acrylic monomer and a (meth)acrylic acid ester, by a pressure-sensitive adhesive having a refractive index of 1.45 or below and a glass transition point (Tg) of -30°C or below.
