PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curtain airbag device with a simple structure capable of improving passenger protective performance.SOLUTION: A main air bag 30 that is spread downward like a curtain along a side window by receiving supply pressure is accommodated in a roof side rail portion 5. An expanding strap 20, formed like a long bag, one end of which is connected communicatably to the main air bag 30 and the other end of which is connected to a pillar portion 1, is accommodated in the pillar portion 1. In the expanding strap 20 are formed a deformation portion, which is twisted when the main airbag 30 and the expanding strap 20 are accommodated, and is released from a twisted state as the main airbag 30 is spread out. |
