PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to appropriately photograph a photographer by a visual line detection self-shutter for photographing a plurality of persons.SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: photographing instruction means that instructs the imaging device to perform a photographing operation; face detection means that detects a person's face; and eye state detection means that detects a state of the eyes of the detected face.
