PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take a moving image without decreasing a frame rate in a dark scene.SOLUTION: In a digital camera 1 which serves as an imaging apparatus, an imaging section 29 takes an image of a subject and sequentially outputs image signals. An image storage section 11d obtains and stores the image signals. A change image generating section 11f adds images stored in the image storage section 11d and generates brightness change images where the brightness of each gradually increases. The brightness change images are displayed on a display section 18a. A photographer touches a touch panel 18b when the brightness change image is at an appropriate brightness. A touch determination section 11c determines that the touch panel has been touched. A period determination part 11g determines an addition period on the basis of the touch timing. An addition section 11e generates an added moving image by sequentially adding the image signals stored in the image storage section 11d for each addition period. The added moving image is displayed on the display section 18a and recorded in a recording section 17. |
