PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a stop time of a service during a switching of servers.SOLUTION: In a method for switching servers between a first server 10-1 and a second server 10-2 connected to each other, during the switching of servers, the currently provided service is stopped in the first server 10-1 and provision of the service is started in the second server 10-2. When the provision of service is started in the second server 10-2, an access request from the second server 10-2 to a shared storage device 40 mounted on the first server 10-1 is transferred to the first server 10-1, and the access request to the shared storage device 40 is received from the second server 10-2 and processed in the first server 10-1. When the shared storage device 40 is unmounted from the first server 10-1, the shared storage device 40 is mounted in the second server 10-2, and the transmission of the access request to the first server 10-1 is stopped. |
