PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a horizontal member structured to sufficiently present a connection bearing force of the horizontal member even in a domestic cedar material, and a precut manufacturing method for mass-production.SOLUTION: In a horizontal member 100, a housing 120 and a dovetail 130 are formed in a connection convex part 110 which becomes a junction spot, and a recess 150 of a housing dovetail and a recess 160 are formed in a connection concave part 140. Right and left side face parts 121 of the housing 120 in the connection convex part 110 are tapered at least partially, such that a mutual opposing distance is reduced gradually towards a bottom face. The corresponding recess 150 of the housing dovetail of the connection concave part 140 is also tapered at least partially correspondingly to tapering of the housing 120. An angle of tapering is adjusted larger than 0° and smaller or equal to 40°. A side face of the dovetail 130 may also be tapered. In the precut manufacturing method, when cutting the housing 120 or the recess 150 with respect to timber of the horizontal member, the housing 120 or the recess 150 is cut at an angle of tapering the side face parts 121 or side face parts 151. |
