An electric lamp - holder comprises a hollow body 1 provided with a fitting 6 for a lamp bulb and a spring- pressed hollow plug 7 (preferably made of P.V.C.) through which is passed a cable C, the end of the cable being fitted with a contact cap 11 having an end which is snapped into place past a surrounding lip 15 on plug 7. The plug 7 is also a snap-fit in the hollow body 1, so that the split tail portions 9 provide a grip for the cable. |
