<p>A moulding composition comprises 80-98 parts of a polymerized vinyl-aromatic compound, e.g. styrene, and 2-20 parts of polybutadiene having 1-15% of 1, 2 units. The composition may also contain 1.5-3.5 parts of paraffin wax and 0.5-2.5 parts of a hydrocarbon oil as lubricants. The polymers may be present in the composition as a blend of the homopolymers or as an interpolymer of polybutadiene and the vinyl-aromatic compound which may be prepared by dissolving the polybutadiene in styrene, adding the lubricant and polymerizing the solution by heating, e.g. to 95-200 DEG C.</p> |
