<p>A BBU, an RRU and a data transmission method and wireless access system therefor.In some feasible embodiments of the present invention, the BBU transfers some or all of the functions processed by a base band thereof to the RRU for processing. Based on the above-mentioned innovative mechanism, the amount of data transmitted between the BBU and the RRU is greatly reduced, so that the data between the BBU and the RRU can be transmitted by an IP network, and at the same time, the BBU integration level is increased.
