Disclosed is a method of providing a rental service for an electronic book package. According to the present invention, it is determined whether an electronic book provided in an electronic library in a package has been rented, by extracting authority information of the package to which the electronic book pertains if a rent for the electronic book is requested, by recognizing a rent situation of other electronic books pertaining to the package, and by determining a rent authority of the requested electronic book based on the recognized rent situation.
