PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement device and a measurement method, which are able to obtain a highly accurate measurement result in a relatively short time.SOLUTION: A measurement device includes a computer, to which a stereoscopic camera 14 and an illumination device 16 are connected. In the illumination device 16, a plurality of light sources are installed so as to surround a work W, and the edge of a hole formed in the upper surface of the work W is illuminated. The light sources have upper emitting parts 160a, 168a, and lower emitting parts 160b, 168b, the upper or lower emitting parts are used, and the brightness thereof is varied. When photographing is carried out, the emitting part determined for each hole is lighted at appropriate brightness, targeted holes are changed in order, and photographic images are acquired by the number of holes. Then, based on a photographic image of the stereoscopic camera, the three-dimensional position of each hole is detected and an inter-hole pitch is measured. |
