PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a health check system that allows a set of communication devices connected by a transmission path including multiple lines to perform health check of the communication devices and the transmission path.SOLUTION: A health check system comprises a first communication device that comprises: means for generating a health check packet when a non-health check packet from a first network has not been received for a first time since the last reception; first data link means for converting a packet group into a frame for transmission path group; and a de-multiplexer for distributing and transmitting the frame group to a plurality of lines. The health check system also comprises a second communication device that comprises: a multiplexer for multiplexing the frame group received from the multiple lines included in a transmission path; second data link means for extracting the packet group from the frame group; means for deleting the health check packet from the packet group and for determining that communication abnormality has occurred when a packet group has not been received for a second time since the last reception; and means for transmitting the packet group to a second network. |
